Miyeon and Se-na's Reactions

Chapter 95

Miyeon and Se-na's Reactions

For example, whenever I got a kill, donations would pour in.

Then the text-to-speech would read them out.

[Sol'sLoverDaeju donated 2,000 won]

"Look at this, you fckers? Cut down that worthless btch!"

Whether I was farming minions, taking dragons, dying, or even when I was feeling good after getting praised by a teammate, the donations were turning my character into someone with terrible personality.

"Are you kidding me?"

[Oh lol he turned on his mic]

[Who told you to turn off your mic?]

[I actually know this VTuber in real life lol]

[Yeah, I think I know who this is too lol]

When it became unbearable, I had no choice but to turn on the mic.

I knew this was all part of the viewers' plan, but with donations being spammed with forced 1,000 won text-to-speech readings, I couldn't not turn it on.

But I didn't turn on the cam.

I couldn't concede that much, and viewers didn't seem to completely hate this VTuber concept anyway.

"Sigh... it's my fault for starting the stream"

[Yeah, it's your fault]

[Phew, I thought it was my fault for a second lol]

[I'll let it slide today since I like how you're admitting your mistake]

[We're so nice]

"Oh~ I see a lot of people who need to be banned~"

[Everyone bow your heads!]

[Just endure it for about 5 minutes and then you can curse again~]

[Look at these veterans]

Sometimes while streaming, you'll often see cases where the flow of the stream is determined by a single person's chat message.

You might wonder how one person can move ten thousand people, but with perfect timing, it's definitely possible. Even in streams like mine where there's an overwhelming amount of chat messages, there are moments when the chat briefly pauses, and that's when someone's message can have that kind of impact.

[Hey, can't we do that content from last time? Watching donations and reactions? Send donations to Se-na and Miyeon]

[Oh that sounds good]

[Isn't Se-na's reaction like lifting dumbbells?]

[Damn lol that's pretty innovative]

[Miyeon's room might be a bit...]

[Why?]

[They're too nice there;;]

"Too nice?"

What an enviable problem.

Here I am getting cursed at by nearly ten thousand viewers, and it was quite vexing.

I changed my avatar's expression to show a bit of anger.

[Don't get too angry, like streamer like viewers]

[For real lol this is what you get. If you were nice like Miyeon, you'd be getting donations instead of curses lol]

[Well isn't it fine since you're making money from the curses?]

[Miyeon's stream gets compliments through donations]

"No, I don't believe it"

What kind of place was internet streaming? It was practically a jungle, an Amazon - how could there be a pure sanctuary? I couldn't believe it.

Besides, how could a female streamer in this world be that mild-mannered?

I didn't believe in rumors.

Wanting to see with my own eyes, I turned on the stream.

As luck would have it, she was playing League of Legends, where all sorts of weird people gather.

"LoL viewers are always desperate to backseat game, and they curse a lot"

[But LoL streamers curse a lot too]

[How to check nice people's true nature: Make them drive, make them play LoL]

[Isn't Miyeon Iron tier, can viewers hold back their curses?]

[For real, even watching Silver gameplay makes you want to curse... they can hold that back?]

As my curiosity only grew, I finally decided to check out her room.

"Ah~ I died..."

[It's okay, Miyeon!]

[Still manageable, fighting!]

[That champion is higher tier...]

[Honestly it's a counter matchup, don't worry]

I couldn't believe my eyes.

The first thing I saw was a gray screen indicating death, but the chat was incredibly wholesome. If this was my stream...

Just imagining it gave me goosebumps.

I don't know for sure but-

"Oh? The viewer count suddenly increased a lot..."

Since my viewers entered a stream with fewer viewers, I eventually got caught.

Soon enough, as my name was mentioned in the chat, Miyeon also noticed my stream.

In a situation where we were watching each other's streams, I awkwardly greeted her.

"Ah~ Hello Miyeon-nim~..."

"Oh? Daeju-nim~! Nice to meet you~ Today you look... a bit different!"

The greeting was nice, but it only lasted for a moment.

As my viewers' chat messages started, I hung my head in guilt. Though it wouldn't be visible now with the VTuber avatar, and while they might have thought they were being mild with their chat messages, by Miyeon's room standards, some spicy messages started appearing.

[How can you lose with this broken champion]

[Try hook flying Q-auto-W-Q please I beg you]

[Welcome, Daeju-dan viewers~]

[Wow 700 viewers... thank you ㅠㅠㅠ]

[Why is the reaction like this]

"Ah Miyeon-nim, I'm sorry... our viewers..."

"No, it's fine! I'm happy there's more chat than usual!"

Even the viewers were bewildered by this unexpected response.

"Oh, so that's how you use that combo?"

Just like the viewers, Miyeon's reaction wasn't any different.

She happily accepted the backseat gaming, tried the combo, and succeeded in getting a kill.

Though it was a bit clumsy, she somehow managed to execute the combo as told, and that alone was enough to get a solo kill in Iron tier.

"Wow~ Thank you Daeju-dan members~ I got a solo kill!"

[Uh... yeah...]

[What is this... just play the game...]

[Fighting!]

[I don't think this is the place for me...]

[I want to leave...]

"She really has a good personality..."

Remembering the content the viewer mentioned, and feeling both supportive and apologetic for my viewers' rudeness, I donated 200,000 won.

[Daeju donated 200,000 won]

"I'm sorry about our viewers. Keep up the good work with your stream!"

Then from Miyeon's stream came a sound like someone gasping for air.

"Oh, what should I do? I don't have a reaction prepared... um..."

Seeing her jump up from her seat and fidget nervously, I just told her to focus on the game and left.

I thought about staying longer, but it seemed like my presence might prevent her from playing properly, and some of my new viewers looked like they might try to disrupt her room more, saying they could.

"She really is nice"

[That's right, VTuber-nim, unlike that bastard Daeju]

[See? When you see something nice, the grooming-and-cleaning theory is science]

[So that means you who gets cursed at isn't any different from us]

"That's a bit..."

Next was Se-na's stream.

The viewer count had already surpassed 100.

I hadn't expected her to grow, but for some reason she had.

Miyeon, Vine, and my growth speeds were unusually fast, but this pace was fast too.

When I turned on the stream, Se-na was catching her breath while wearing a tank top and sweating.

If this wasn't the reversed world, wouldn't that appearance alone easily surpass 300 viewers?

The chat didn't care either way and was just casually teasing her as the "Geum Taeyang."

Since many of these viewers probably came from my stream, Se-na's nickname had naturally become Geum Taeyang.

"I'll shoot before getting caught by the viewer count increase here too"

Since it was obvious I'd be caught soon, I decided to donate right away.

I wondered how much to donate, but since we had personal friendship and the image of uncle slightly flickered in my mind, I decided to use 200,000 won.

[Daeju donated 200,000 won]

"I'm enjoying your stream!"

"Ah Daeju-nim? Thank you for the donation!"

Se-na was startled by the sudden trumpet sound but quickly reacted with a calm expression. Recognizing it was me, she even gave a faint smile.

[You need to do a reaction]

[Just saying thanks for 200k won? Hurry up]

[FYI Yeonhee does a grand bow]

[Even something like a dance]

"Hmm... then please wait a moment, let me think about a reaction and come back"

Then she went off screen.

[What is this? Underwear run?]

[What if she ends the stream after getting 200k won?]

[She said she's thinking about the reaction lol just wait]

[Since she's good at working out, a grand bow with push-ups would be acceptable]

[How is it a bow if you're doing push-ups while bowing you idiot lol no principles]

And then my phone rang.

There was a KakaoTalk message from Se-na.

Why at this timing?

"Just a moment please."

I turned off the mic.

Fortunately, since I hadn't turned on the cam, my surprised expression wasn't revealed.

When I opened KakaoTalk, Se-na had sent a photo of herself making a V-sign with her fingers with an awkward expression while showing off her figure.

After we agreed to speak casually, we'd exchanged many messages, but this was definitely the first time receiving a photo.

Thinking one photo wasn't enough, she even sent a selfie she just took. Even to me as a man, it was a photo from an awkward angle, but her looks made up for it.

When I didn't show any particular reaction while looking at the photos, perhaps taking it as a sign they weren't enough, she sent photos frantically.

A collection of Se-na's photos was created in my gallery.

The tank top outfit was more revealing than expected - and nice.

I sent a satisfied emoji.

Actually, it was embarrassing, but I felt like she'd keep sending more if I didn't say anything.

Only then did Se-na send a message saying she was going back to streaming, feeling reassured.

"I didn't expect this..."

It was a reaction beyond imagination.

...It was just a shame I couldn't show it to the viewers.

When Se-na returned to the stream, the chat became active again.

[Did you think of a reaction?]

[Geum Taeyang unnie, I'm waiting]

[Please do side lateral raises as a reaction]

[What's that you gym freak]

"Ah~ the reaction? I resolved it well with the person involved~"

She said with a somewhat embarrassed expression.

[????]

[What the hell show me too]

[You're not trying to get away with it because you're friends with Daeju right?]

[What's with that expression?]

Se-na silently looked at the camera.

No, it felt like she was looking at me through the camera.

Though I couldn't know since I didn't have my cam on, I probably had an embarrassed expression just like Se-na.
