League of Legends has some representative rules for 1v1.
Nothing too fancy, just rules for fairness.
Among them, the most suitable way to compare skills was obviously choosing the same champion to fight.
Yeonhee and I agreed to proceed with that rule.
We decided to make it a single match, cleanly putting everything we had into it without regrets.

As expected of a match between streamers, there were plenty of donations and supportive viewers, who started dividing into camps based on who they were cheering for.
Even in the gambling corner that was opened for fun, where points could be bet, the odds were neck and neck at 50:50.

When I pointed out her expression that was so focused it could be mistaken for anger, Yeonhee was startled and waved at the camera.
A viewer who saw through her awkward expression said something, but Yeonhee was playing on a laptop without her stream on, and was too far to read my chat, so she just waved happily, unaware that the chat was on fire.
And as soon as I turned my head, she put on a serious expression again.

The champion we decided on was Lee Sin.
Lee Sin 1v1s were even held at League tournament events, making him a representative pick for these kinds of 1v1s.

Hearing that Vine was watching made my fingers feel stiff from the pressure, but I deliberately shouted confidently.
In response, Yeonhee's expression slightly furrowed as she started showing signs of tension.
It was a change in expression so subtle that viewers wouldn't notice, but as someone who's experienced tension before, I could tell that expression came from nervousness.
We agreed to use identical runes and spells.
Even the starting items were the same - it really felt like we wanted to compete purely with mechanics.
At this point, this Lee Sin match would actually come down to who could land more Q skills, Sonic Wave.

I tried holding back my laughter at that sound.
But because of the distinct sound of trying to hold back laughter, it seemed to provoke Yeonhee who threw her Sonic Wave at me.
I dodged it.

I bit my lips hard again to hold back laughter.
Though I was teasing her because I had to after receiving the donation, Yeonhee, not knowing this, continued playing with a slightly sulky expression. When I moved forward a bit after not seeing the opponent's character for a while, I found Yeonhee's character trying to recall to base.
Yeonhee spotted me too and suddenly started pleading.
"Oh please, please let me go back"
Despite her desperate voice, the world of competition is cold.
My Q landed and interrupted her recall animation.
"Ah... you really won't let me go"
Yeonhee finally gave up on going back after seeing the minion wave coming from far away.
She could have hidden deeper and recalled, but it seemed like she chose not to because the experience difference would have made her future really bleak.
And that choice wasn't good.
Though the health difference was slight, because we had identical runes and spells, Yeonhee couldn't confidently hit minions, and as a result, I hit level 2 first.
After hitting level 2, I kept harassing Yeonhee who was trying to reach level 2 with Sonic Wave and various skills, and when Yeonhee couldn't take it anymore and flew at me to fight after landing Sonic Wave, I who had magically reached level 3 won against her without much effort.
Though the match content was a bit anticlimactic, it was fine by me.

Her cheek balloons deflated a little when I said that to try to comfort her somehow.

Yeonhee was boasting even higher viewer numbers than Vine who had revealed his face, so it would be stranger if she didn't pass, and personally, I wanted to hear perspectives other than my own too. So I accepted the viewer's suggestion.
Though Yeonhee heard everything, it seemed like immediately switching moods was tough as she just nodded her head.

First I had Yeonhee sit next to me so we could look at the monitors side by side.

In the end, while saying something expensive, Yeonhee was satisfied with a Whopper from Burger King.
